“La Bayadera” with music of Leo Delibes.   Tortola Carmen plays here one of their traditional evocative, lush and voluptuous dances that hauled fuss at the time. In this case, the dancer immersed herself in the exotic Indian folklore, built in a sort of priestess. A Bayadera is an Indian dancer and singer that used to take part in religious performances with the goal of entertaining people with either their dances or their songs.
